Reiki Bamboo Charcoal is made through following processes.
Fume bamboo sticks for three days (evaporate the water content slowly to
tighten up the fiber).
↓
Leave them inside the kiln for four days for curing.
↓
Reverse them and fume two days from the opposite side.
↓
Char the bamboo four days to carbonize them thoroughly.
↓
Leave them for a week inside the kiln to cool down slowly.
|
Char the bamboo elaborately in the earthen kiln with more than 800 degrees
Celsius or higher, which is the idealn condition. This process yields some
30% of high quality bamboo charcoal that contains pure carbon.
Such fine bamboo charcoal is conductive due to high purity of the carbon
it contains.
We call it as "conductive bamboo charcoal".
Conductivity of our bamboo charcoal demonstrates its high quality.
Reiki Bamboo Charcoal is made exclusively with conductive bamboo charcoal.
|
Conductive bamboo charcoal purifies the air, as common bamboo charcoal does. However,
its most characteristic feature is to enhance the energy level of human
body and/or surrounding environment.
Some of you may be aware such a comfortable atomosphere filled with higher
vibration
when you visit the site of Shinto shrines and Buddist temples.
Conductive bamboo charcoal can produce exactly the same atomosphere.
Reiki Bamboo Charcoal offered by Porto House is
made by Japanese traditional earthen kiln built in the mountain area of
Shizuoka.
Wrapped around in the energy of Mother Nature,
Reiki Bamboo Charcoal is broght to perfection through twenty day-long process.
Making bamboo charcoal by earthen kiln is not easy.It takes time, and workmanship
of the professional.
Such craftmanship are getting lost recently,
but if you want to make the highest quailty bamboo charcoal, earthen kiln is the one and only way to make it possible.
Earthen kiln method has three benefits:
| 1. |
Providing high temperature.
Most of the bamboo charcoal is now made by steel kiln,
which chars the materials at some 500 degrees Celsius at best (due to mechanical restraints).
In contrast, earthen kiln can tolerate much higher temperature of 1000
degrees Celsius
and constantly keep 750-800 degrees Celsius,
which is the best condition to make conductive bamboo charcoal. |
|
|
| 2. |
Adjusting humidity.
Earthen kiln can adjust the humidity of its inside at the best condition for charcoal making. due to its structure.
When the inside gets too dry, the earthen walls emit moisture. When it
gets too humid, the kiln absorbs extra moisture.
The charcoal burners describe this phenomenon as the earthen kiln is "breathing". |

| 3. |
Enhancing beneficial effects of bamboo charcoal. |
