There is always a certain place with lower level of energy. In Japan, people call such place as "kegarechi".
In such a place, nothing but misfortune continues to happen, no business
is successful,
a host of disasters and accidents occur, many of the residents suffer from
illness, and animals and plants do not come well.
In contrast, a certain place with higher level of energy is called "iyashirochi".
Iyashirochi allows any business to thrive, plants to come well, and hens
lay more eggs.
And needless to say, people can live healthier and happier in iyashirochi.
What makes the difference between kegarechi and iyashirochi?
People in Japan continue to believe that iyashirochi is filled with high
energy of Reiki,
which provide significant support for people, animals and plants.
Meanwhile, people all over the world knows, from ancient times through their experiences,
that a certain high energy has beneficial effects.
That high energy is known and described by different name depending on
language, culture and spiritual tradition.
No matter how the name is different,
history tells us that people has been aware of the high energy and looking at it in a similar way across the borders.
Consequently, people worked out many different methods in order to raise
the energy level of the place.
Feng shui, astrology, religion, i-ching, using the power of natural stones,
exploiting the energy of certain plants,
and purification by salt are just a few examples.
In Japan, people has been using bamboo charcoal for the purpose of raising
the energy level of the place economically
and effectively. Traditional bamboo charcoal is elaborately carbonized
by earthen kiln,.
Bamboo grows vigorously and becomes widespread easily.
These properties led the people in Japan to regard it with unique mystery
and the hidden source of enormous power.
In particular, the empty hollow in the stalks of bamboo is regarded as
the place where a certain deity reside.
So the people in Japan continues to believe that bamboo has special properties
to turn away the evil.
Indeed, "Taketori Monogatari (Tale of the bamboo cutter"), which
is one of the oldest transcription of folktale in Japan,
describes how Kaguyahime (Princess Kaguya) was found as a baby girl in
a shining hollow of very large stalk of bamboo.
kaguyahime was raised by the bamboo cutter and his wife.
She was brought up to be wise, beautiful and elegant.
But in reality, she was the messenger from the Moon world, and she had
to return to the Moon.
Missed by her foster parents and many suitors, she ascended toward the
Moon.
Before leaving the Earth, Kaguyahime delivered unearthly gifts to the Emperor.
They were the elixir of immortality,
the heavenly robe (that enables the wearer to fly high in the sky),and the letter of farewell.
However, broken-hearted Emperor ordered his servants to burn them at the
top of the highest mountain in Japan.
The mountain is located in the country of Suruga,
which is the central and northeastern area of Shizuoka prefecture today.
(Porto House and the earthen kiln for making Reiki Bamboo Charcoal are located in this area).

Since then, the mountain is called as Fujiyama or Mount Fuji (mountain
of immortality) ,
and it is said that a thread of smoke is constantly rising at the summit
of this volcanic mountain.
As this folktale implies, Fujiyama has been regarded as the power spot
for more than 1000 years.
Not surprisingly, Fujiyama and surrounding mountains are wrapped around
with higher vibration.
Porto House's Reiki Bamboo Charcoal is made in this environment. |
In Japan, bamboo has been regarded as the bringer of good luck that is
the essential for celebrations,
festive occasions and matters of hearty congratulation in the daily life.
For example, Kadomatsu, the Japanese traditional decoration for the New
Year,
consists of stalks of bamboo and pine sprigs.
House builders always have Shinto ceremony of purifying the building site,
putting up "imi-take (sanctified bamboo)" at the four corners of the site.
As bamboo grows straight toward the heaven and fertile, people in Japan
values bamboo as one of three plants
that represent auspicious signs (the other two plants are pine and plum).
Because of its porosity, bamboo charcoal has more than 300 square meters
of surface area per one gram,
although the figure may be somewhat different depending on the measuring
methods.
This fact explains its strong ability to absorb unpleasant smell and extra
moisture.
Bamboo charcoal has unique, excellent properties including electrical characteristics,
reactions to the microorganism, polyphenol effects, supplying minerals such as silicates, potassium.
When the bamboo is charred to achieve higher purity of carbon, resulted bamboo charcoal can conduct electricity.
Such high quality bamboo charcoal, is called as "Conductive Bamboo
Charcoal".
Interestingly, although the modern age sciences can not fully explain its
wonderful healing effects,
this knowledge has been handed down from generation to generation in Japan.
|
Naturally, conductive bamboo charcoal has been used for Shinto shrines
and Buddhist temples.
High quality conductive bamboo charcoal
allows higher level of the energy at the place to create the space filled
with Reiki.
Thus it turns away the evil and bring good luck.
That is why it is called as "Shofuku Takesumi" in Japan. "Shofuku"
means bringing good luck,
"Takesumi" stands for bamboo charcoal.
"Reiki Bamboo Charcoal" is made by earthen kiln with Japanese traditional method.
Today, making bamboo charcoal by earthen kiln requires excellent techniques
and rich experiences as the process depends mostly on charcoal burner's skills and senses.
"Reiki Bamboo Charcoal" is produced wholeheartedly through collaboration of the experienced charcoal burner
and the Reiki Healer who is the practitioner of Reiki Healing. |
